Bodegas Pedro Romero, Sanlucar de Barrameda (Cadiz
Province), Andalucia
This Manzanilla/Sherry producer, founded in 1860, remains 100% in the control
of the founding family
- currently the sixth generation of the family runs the business
I visited on 23rd March 2007 and was fortunate to have a personally-guided
tour - just for me;
the young lady who was my guide was in fact German, but as our only common
language was French
my guided tour was in that language.

In another of the bodegas staff are at work carrying
out the criadera and solera rotations

My guide pouring us a glass each of Manzanilla,
drawn straight from the barrel. Delicious and fresh!
