Thanks for your visit! ~ ¡Gracias por su visita!

This website contains information about my 'holiday home' near Mazarron, Murcia Region, Spain.
The image below was taken during a lengthy and very enjoyable walk during May 2016,
looking from the end of the Playa del Rihuete back towards Puerto de Mazarrón.

News - latest page updates
(NB/ there are sundry posts in my Blog to record topics of general interest about Spain and MCC together with occasional humour)
14NOV17 - To see full details of changes in national and local "Water Reserves" from July 2014 to 14 November 2017 across Spain and in the Murcia Region ('Segura Basin'),please visit my 'Links' page, click on 'Water' in the top menu bar, or scroll down the page to the section called "Water Reserves" - or go straight to the "Water Reserves" section by clicking here.
11OCT17 - I have updated the section in my 'Links' page for Public Holidays for 2018 to include details of national, regional and local holidays in the Murcia Region of Spain. Still available there are Public Holidays for the remainder of 2017 for Murcia Region, the Valencian Community ('Communitat Valenciana') and throughout Andalucia. Please visit my 'Links' page and the 'Public Holidays' section there to find this information, or you can go straight to the relevant section by clicking here. NB/ The consolidated list of equivalent Public Holidays for 2017 for the whole of Spain is also linked to in the 'Public Holidays' section in the 'Links' page. To find details of local holdays in regions of Spain other than Murcia Region, the Valencian Community and Andalucia, you will need to visit their respective websites or obtain information locally.
11JAN17 - Toll rates effective 1JAN17 for all Spanish toll motorways supported by the State have been reduced by a further 0.4% as compared with those for 2016 (the reduction effective 1JAN16 was 0.6% compared with 2015), the second year in a row that tariffs have fallen (after several years unchanged), in accordance with a formula agreed in 2002; toll rates are usually revised at the beginning of each calendar year. The full tariff details for 2017 have now been published, and as expected most tariffs remain unchanged, but a few have shown minor reductions, both probably to try and reflect accurately the net effect of the changes last year and this year, allowing for rounding errors. Please visit my 'Location' page and various of the pages linked to from there, or you can go straight to the main 'Location' page by clicking here.
